IRT’s Mission Statement
Mission: To protect the genetic integrity and nature’s biological evolution by preventing the outdoor release of genetically modified organisms, and to protect human and animal health by preventing the use of GMOs in the food and feed supply.
In addition, we seek to stop the use of toxic agricultural chemicals associated with GMOs, such as Roundup.
IRT is a world leader in educating the public and change-makers about the health risks and environmental dangers of GMOs and associated pesticides. We empower consumers to lead an organic lifestyle and shape the changing marketplace to reject GMOs from the food supply and environment.
How? We investigate and report their risks and impact on health, environment, the economy, and agriculture, as well as the problems associated with current research, regulation, corporate practices, and reporting.
IRT utilizes a multi-platform strategy to speak truth to power, inform the public and create consumer behavior change. This includes (but is not limited to):
Speaking engagements around the world
Newsletter providing both audio and written versions
Highly active Facebook page
Regular Facebook Live segments
Video and short film production
Curated YouTube Channel
Collaboration with other non-profits and companies in line with our mission
Petitions addressing key issues in the movement
Founded in 2003 by international bestselling author and GMO expert Jeffrey Smith, IRT has worked in over 45 countries on 6 continents and is credited with improving government policies and influencing consumer-buying habits to create the tipping point of consumer demand.

We rescue not for politics, fortune, or fame, my friend… but for the kiss of a dog.
Rocket Dog Rescue, the name says it all. We are an all-volunteer nonprofit group dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned animals from euthanasia in overcrowded Bay Area shelters. We literally give them a second chance at life. And everybody deserves a second chance.
Rocket Dog Rescue places non-aggressive dogs into temporary foster homes where they are socialized, spay/neutered, vaccinated, and treated for any medical or behavioral conditions which would otherwise limit their adoptability. We then actively seek out permanent quality homes for these deserving animals through our volunteer network, online adoption page, weekend adoption fairs, and neighborhood poster campaigns.
We protect people from malaria. We fund nets and ensure they are distributed and used. We show you where the nets go. We monitor and report their use and impact.
100% of public donations buys long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs). An LLIN costs US$2.00. We work with distribution partners to distribute nets and ensure use. We conduct net use surveys and track monthly malaria data.
Today, NCF strives to improve the lives of children and establish a positive fathering and family legacy that will impact future generations by inspiring and equipping fathers and father figures to be actively engaged in the life of every child.
